Truly Priceless

People don't like praying the Morning or Evening Suffrages. So the Commission on Worship years ago changed the name to Responsive Prayer I and II. Maybe they had a point...

Unbelievable

Well, I don't think the new names are all that appealing either. But the video is pretty sad.

A few years ago Penn & Teller's show, BullSh&t had a similar show getting environmentalists at an Earth Day event signing a petition to get rid of the earth's water supply.

At least the LSB carries forth the practice of LW and under Responsive Prayer I, it is noted in italics: "Suffrages."

Vicar told me about the petition to eliminate H20. Glad it failed. : )

Actually, it passed with flying colors! Everyone wanted to sign it because the chemical name sounded so "yucky". No one asked exactly what it was... and just signed it. Pretty pathetic.
