Detroit Fans

You have proven that you have NOTHING to be ashamed of. Great game, even though St. Louis ended up on top. I confess that although part of me would love to have a Cards win (shoot, PLAY!) tonight and be done with baseball for a while, part of me kind of hopes that we get to see MORE match-ups. The pitching that leaves you breathless (can he hold out another inning with no runs?) didn't happen, but in some ways it made the game more nail-biting. And does little Davey still knows how to handle his Goliath or what? Go Eckstein!

Laura is right there with you. She said this morning that she would be disappointed if the Series ends tonight - though she wants the Cards to win it all in the end. She also doesn't understand why the tv ratings are so low in the rest of the country since this Series has been so exciting.
I also have to give a big thumbs up to the No on Ammendment 2 crowd... just wish I was a Missouri voter.

As our beloved blogger waxes poetic about America's pastime and displays a level of appreciation for the game, the subtle joy of a pitchers duel, and the timeless battle between pitcher and batter, we are left pondering one question: Who are you and what have you done with Pastor Weedon?

Was it over when the Germans bombed pearl harbor?
It isn't over until we say it is.

And the Red Wings are better than the Blues too!

I hope the Tigers do extend it into the weekend, at least.

Although, these pitcher errors are killing them.
