EWTN

You know, the Father on EWTN did a bang up job of preaching the Gospel today in the mass that was broadcast. It was wholly catholic and not a bit Roman, if you know what I mean. I was "amening" all the way through. Text was Ephesians 2 - last part. He preached the blood of Christ as that which makes our peace, both with God and between each other. And that blood he pointed out was present in the Eucharist - the blood of a new and eternal covenant with God. Really a fine job.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

Here I sit.

ConcordiaFan,

Maybe not entirely blind, after all, the Father was preaching on that which gives sight to the blind, the Word of God.

My favorite is Father Angelus Shaughnessy.

I saw parts of it today. I guess I need to watch it all. I will try to catch it later tonight. What did you think of his comments on the Euchrist?

Steven,

I thought he handled it well. What did you think?

Which Father was it? Carabi?

Think he was a guest. Never seen him before. Best line was something like: "We catholics are in danger of forgetting the cross."

It was Father Mitch Pacwa. Jon did you mean Father Corapi, the priest who sounds like Patrick Stewart.

Yep Caropi (bad spelling sorry) - great orator, agree with tons of what he says, stumbles onto the gospel occasionally.

Fr. Pacwa is surprising cross focused. I listened to him this morning on 1090 am in Detroit.

The other decent one is Fr. Ricardo - Christ is the answer, I think he is just local to Detroit.
