Vacation time!

Today was the first day of my last week of vacation. And it was a fun day! My father-in-law and I worked on assembling book shelves, my mother-in-law directed where to put boxes, and we got to put the finishing touches on their living room and dining room. Their stuff is looking great in the new house. I think that means that the master bedroom, the dining room and the living room are all basically done. Then we all went to see Bekah play her last game of tennis for the year, and off to dinner at Sgt. Pepper's Cafe. Dave and I came home then while the ladies had some grocery shopping to do. I can't tell you how much I love having them in our neighborhood!!!

Tomorrow and Saturday we'll start tackling the boxes upstairs, I suspect. We've got to set up her painting studio and scrap-booking room and the guest room. The office is still a bit untidy, but I think that will have to wait for a bit.

You are a good son-in-law.

Actually, I just have a GREAT set of in-laws, whom I enjoy very much. My own parents have been gone a long time now, but God has given me a wonderful set of stand-ins.
