Go Kesemann!

HT to Gottesblog. An article in the Wall Street Journal mentions Synod's resolution this summer about confession and absolution and notes the revival of the practice in the Lutheran Church, quoting our very own Pastor Bruce Kesemann:

Go Kesemann

Pr. Stuckwisch tried to get this resolution on the floor before adjournment, but was told to wait. So I gave him a little parlimentary procedural help to get it to the floor.

I did not realize -- until Pr Charles Schultz from Ann Arbor told us -- that it had been over 100 years since the LCMS addressed it. And that those early resolutions were very strong.

It may have been lately spoken and little addressed, but at least something was said. SDG.
