When we got married (at that "Lutheran" megachurch), we wanted communion and they wouldn't let us do it! It's probably a good thing though because I had no knowledge of the Real Presence, and none of my family is Lutheran and Jason's family is WELS. But, can you imagine? They wouldn't do a Divine Service. Of course, I didn't know what one was either. --Jen

Great News - Pastor Weedon!
The sun was shining today. The temp. was 22C (in the low 70's) - the birds were singing - the snow is finally gone for a day or two - took the grandkids (5 and 3 years old) to see great-grandmother - then I took the grandkids for a walk along the river - we saw ducks dutifully named "Fred and Ginger" - went to the grocery store with grandkids - truly not for the faint hearted - told oldest daughter (mother of the two adorable grandkids) "You have got an awful sunburn on your face and neck." - daughter played 3 games of softball today. Threw out her shoulder and does not know how she will direct the choir tomorrow for the 21st anniversary service - but she promised to think of a way - she also has to plan what to wear as she is "beet red" - no blossoms yet but they can not be far away now.

"Unload half cow and take downstairs to freezer + Lunch."

So much for the healthy diet then!

Doorman,

Beef IS the healthy diet - it is the bun and french fries that will kill you. The beef is good stuff!
