Be Still

Be still, my soul; the Lord is on your side;
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
Leave to you God to order and provide;
In every change He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul; your best, your heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still and know that He is God...
Be still and know that He is Holy...
Be still Oh restless Soul of Mine...
Bow before the Prince of Peace...
Let the Noise and Clamour Cease...

Be Still...

The song goes on...

A wonderful work by Steven Curtis Chapman

Sung to Jean Sibelius’ beautiful melody, Finlandia, it is particularly meaningful to those whose lives have been affected by the turmoil of that region.

Peace, peace, and there is no peace. But there is!

Peace and Joy!
George A. Marquart
