Prayers coveted

for Jo, Cindi's mom.  She is hospitalized - what we thought was a simple urinary tract infection has taken an insidious turn.  Now we have kidney failure and rapid heart beat.  More later when we know more; in the meantime, I'd be thankful if you all remember her in your prayers!  As someone preached recently:  "You never know what a day will bring."

Prayers for all...

Hear my cry, O God;
Give heed to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I call to Thee, when my heart is faint;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For Thou hast been a refuge for me,
A tower of strength against the enemy.
Let me dwell in Thy tent forever;
Let me take refuge in the shelter of Thy wings. Selah.
For Thou hast heard my vows, O God;
Thou hast given me the inheritance of those who fear Thy name.
Thou wilt prolong the king's life;
His years will be as many generations.
He will abide before God forever;
Appoint lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
So I will sing praise to Thy name forever, That I may pay my vows day by day.

~Psalm 61

Thanks, all. Jo is doing much better. She is resting, without fever, and the drs. hope and anticipate that the elevated creatinine levels are reversible. Please keep her in your prayers, though. It looks hopeful, but we're not out of the woods yet.

Kyrie eleison, Christe eleison, Kyrie eleison.

We will pray for Jo daily.

May our gracious Lord hold her in His mercy, and keep her in His steadfast love.

May the doctors and nurses who care for proceed with competence and compassion.

May you be Jesus with skin on on, bringing her Gospel comfort, hope, and cheer.

In Christ,

Phillip
