New Lutheran Quote of the Day

God grant His Spirit to work the truth of these words in us to repentance and faith, toward lives freed for the feasting with Him, of being for one another, enjoying one another without calculation of what use or advantage we may get out of them.  Such love forgets about trying to be humble, about showing off an honor above others.  Our place and who we are what we are worth does not depend on any of that but is given to us by our Lord, who is the Jesus He is, who is the Gospel He is for us today and at the resurrection. -- Dr. Norman Nagel, Selected Sermons, p. 212.
