Poor kitty! I won't show this picture to my kitty-loving daughter lest she declare you heartless for leaving a kitty out in the cold! (But I suppose your doggie would not like kitty in the house?)

He used to let us bring the kitties in when there was extreme cold (ummm right now). In his old age he's gotten heartless. Lucy's sorta used to the cats...

You should let them sleep in the laundry room! They can use some of Bilbo's litter! PLUS they don't have flees now!

We had barn cats who kept warm with the cattle and earned their keep. I can't see having an "outside cat" otherwise.

But my daughter, in Normal, is feeding a stray rooster, which to my amazement has survived this last storm.
The regular birdfeeding station being three feet under snow, she spread a quantity of grain under the blue spruces in the back yard.
The other birds have taken advantage of that, too.
