I really find the word "Nazi" offensive. Couldn't you have used a better word then that.

I wonder! Would you allow this word to be used on your Blog? I don't Think So.

The mixing of Byzantine and Western adornments does not always work IMO, but in this case, it looks very beautiful and works great. Well done. Blessed Advent.

P.S. The Nativity Icon shows Christ being born in a cave, of course taken from the Protoevangelium of James. This understanding of where Christ was born is seen throughout Orthodox hymnology. I can't remember, did it make it's way into Western Advent/Christmas hymns or not?

Thanks, Trent. The icons are part of a set the parish owns. We set them up on the altar from time to time. I agree, they fit. Pax!
