Speaking of saints -- this probably isn't the proper place to post this but I'm not sure if anyone is still reading the posts about the saints below.
From the book of Tobit, 12:5 the angel Raphael speaks:
I can now tell you that when you, Tobit, and Sarah prayed, it was I who presented and read the record of your prayer before the Glory of the Lord; and I did the same thing when you used to bury the dead. Chapte
Tobit is aware of their prayers. Of course, these passages would not be relevant to the Christian bodies that do not incorporate this canon of Scripture into their Bibles.
