Speaking of decorating, many of the Lutheran Churches around here make Chrismons for their sanctuary trees (I made several batches one year and gave them as gifts to family).
It's such a beautiful (and educational) custom, especially when folks who have not seem them before (mainly non-Lutherans)ask what the Chi Rho or the Alpha and Omega mean.
But then Lutherans have always upheld the beautiful and ancient liturgical symbols.

The tree in the Church has several Chrismons, Christine. They are a little the worse for wear, but the Symbols hold Christ before us in so many ways.
