Darlene gave this to me on Sunday. Isn't it fabulous? A little reel mower to put in the garden (well, by the front door)! She said it reminded her of her childhood - it reminds me of mine as well (though it was the NEIGHBOR who used the reel mower).
I say it reminds me of the thing that gave me blisters and is now collecting dust in our garage since it has been replaced by a gas powered mower.
ReplyDeleteNothing says "mowing" to me quite like a Briggs & Stratton. The smell of fresh mown grass and gas fumes causes a wave of nostalgia to come over me. I'm tearing up just writing about it.
