Vehicle Problem Solved - Deo Gratias!

Even before Bekah started back to school, we started running into some problems with everyone getting where they needed to be. So we solved the problem yesterday, and now we're the proud owners of a 2004 Honda Civic EX Sedan. So far, we're enjoying it a great deal, and the relief of not having to work around everyone's schedule will be a blessing indeed. Best of all: filled her up this a.m. for less than $40. She is supposed to go over 400 miles on that. We'll see! It's all black. I told Cindi we needed to paint a white tab on the front bumper. She didn't agree with me... Whoever of us has further to go on a given day will drive that one, and we'll keep the van for whoever has less costly runs to make. One BIG worry off our shoulders for now.

  2. (it's later) - our vehicle problem is that we have two children in booster seats, a one year old in his car seat... and TWINS due in February/March. Not many vehicles accomodate such requirements.

Glad you bought an American car! 100% made in Ohio, either in Marysville or East Liberty. It's a tremendous car. And for Rev. Leistico, my suggestion would be a Kia Sedona minivan, safe, great mpg for a van, good power when you need it.

    Pr. Weedon,
I like the white tab idea.

I drive a white car myself, in a vain effort to mitigate interior heat, but this is Texas.

  5. Jeremy,
Does the Kia Sedona have more room in the back seat than our Dodge Grand Caravan?

Rev. Leistico, I couldn't tell you that, but we have room for multiple strollers, multiple baby carriers, suitcases, a full-size black Lab, (and even an LSB altar book), so I can say that the Kia has lots of room in the back!

The Grand Caravan is called 'grand' for a reason I suppose. As a kid, my parents had the regular size Caravan, and we survived.

Blessings on your Sunday service. Jeremy

  7. One more item to make it complete. The car needs an "Issues.Etc" bumper sticker.
