I know it's going to be...

...a great day when it's only 7:30 and I have already prayed Matins, read from the Book of Concord, posted on the blog, AND eaten for breakfast my all time favorite - courtesy of Sam and Lisa (thank you, thank you, thank you!) - some delicious country ham, pan fried. Now if only I can figure out a way to make lo-carb light rolls to go with...

Did you get up at 2AM like me because of an allergic reaction to medicine? :)

Although I've not accomplished nearly as much as you have. Only burned some Issues Etc audio cds & played a game of Civilization, all while feeling very groggy.

  2. George,

Sorry to hear about the reaction! No, nothing like for me. I have to teach this a.m. at school, and so if I'm going to get that other stuff done, I have to get up and do it. I despise getting up in the dark, but I'm always glad afterwards. Say, kind of like the GYM!!!

Hope you feel better as the day wears on, my friend.

Have you been using the preview of Treasury of Daily Prayer for your daily offices? I looked at it online & it was in such small print for me & I couldn't fiddle with the controls on it enough to get it work. So, I'm just waiting for the hard copy.

Fortunately, as regards not feeling well, I hopefully won't have anything too mentally taxing to do today since it's my day off. Although watching the Favreless Packers tonight might be emotionally stressful. :)

    Blessings on your teaching!

  4. Pastor Weedon - I'm sure someone could concoct some sort of low-carb rolls to go with that ham.

Whether or not they'd actually be EDIBLE is a whole different matter.

  6. So -- do you think that using the Treasury will count for saying one of the offices for those who may be considering SSP?

  7. Terry,

Oh, joy! Yes, of course, they would "count." They are right out of the Service Book, after all. Just organized nicely all in one place!
