His prophesy was the additional reading today from Treasury. Now the trivia question: can anyone guess what verse I absolutely LOVE from this book and why?
Zephaniah 3:17, right? I guessed it right away. Its my favourite Bible verse of all. The Creator of the Universe rejoices with singing...over ME? Blows me away every time.
Am I disqualified from answering this question? ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL. YES!
ReplyDeleteJust sent you a sermon I wrote on the verse in question. You can post it with your explanation of the reason if you want. ;-P
ReplyDeleteI think I will...corrected. ;)
ReplyDeleteOnce a vicar always a vicar...
ReplyDeleteI did write that sermon when still a seminarian, so I didn't have the aura of pastoral infallibility yet. :-P
Don't have my Bible in front of me, so don't know chapter and verse. Something like.. The LORD rejoices over me with singing?
ReplyDeleteOh, BINGO! The only verse in the Sacred Scripture that speaks of the Lord SINGING. It goes right to my heart each time.
ReplyDeleteAck, it won't LET me post the homily here because it only accepts 4,096 characters. SINCE WHEN? GRRR!
ReplyDeleteYou can do a separate post... or not.
