This is one of my favorite choral pieces! Just a note that this is very accessible to the average small choir. Choralwiki had a decent English translation - not perfect, but still decent - for free.
My choir was invited to a multicultural event, and we sang a gospel song and the Mozart Ave Verum. The song that got an "Amen" afterward was the Mozart!
