...that from tonight through Sunday's services, she's singing or playing in four ensembles and doing a few cantor roles AND she's got 21 pieces to get through. I think I owe her and all the musicians a HUGE thank you!
I'm arriving late to the party on this post of yours. She has such a lovely voice. If she was worn out from all the practice, it certainly wasn't evident. BTW, Mom and I have had a little time to decompress this morning after a few busy days, and I've played the quartet and choir pieces you posted for her. She said, "God must be very happy. That is so beautiful." She also LOVED both Easter services and commented that the music was majestic and that you are "in your element." She kind of got tickled at how you bounce on your toes in the pulpit during the sermon. Thanks for bringing such joy to Mom. Blessings on your day!
Oh, you probably owe her more than that! It sounds like she's busier than you are during the Triduum & the Pascha.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Becky. Bounce on my toes??? Goodness. I suppose I do have a tendency to get a wee bit excited...sometimes...but always at Easter! Pax!
