...breakfast; matins; communion to Jo; visit with Ray (may the angels attend him!); ran 3 miles; weights; lunch; worked on deaconess presentations; vacuumed pool; worked on deaconess presentations some more; dinner; finished up deaconess presentations and Sandy ran off (THANK YOU, SISTER SANDY!); finished last Athanasian Creed study for Issues; Elders meeting - forgot all about it, thank you, Scott, for phone call!; waiting for Cindi to get back from Chorale. On the docket for tomorrow: recording session at Issues at 10:30; sermon for Trinity Sunday; checking in on Ray; prayers for Sunday and School Board. Then off to Seward!
Seward? You GOTTA have a Runza! It's damn near BOC stuff, being Volga Lutheran and all. I don't venture south of I-80 much, but I'll be going under it on 72nd a little after 1900 hours (that's 7 pm for those who can't tell time) so wave if you see me!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your presentation in Seward.
ReplyDeleteCheck on the status of I-29 in Iowa, before you leave. The main levee at Hamburg, IA has failed (due to MO river flooding) and if the secondary levee fails I-29 will be flooded.

It's out of the way, but if you want to make a pit stop in Omaha, I would check out Beertopia off of 36th and Farnam. They have quite the selection of bottled beer and you might find something you want to take home with you.
ReplyDeleteThere's a Runza just down the street from that location too :).
