OH and THIS

also arrived today:

"What is it?" you ask.  Well, you can read about it here.  Very eager to see how well it actually works!

  1. Will, what do you need a light like that for... I get up at 530 AM without any alarm or light or even the cows telling me they need to be milked. Do you pray Matins at 3 AM and that causes you to want to oversleep the early morning hours? Harvey Mozolak

  2. Well, if not for Matins, more like for when I have to be AT the hospital in St. Louis by 5 in a.m. Most days, it is true, we do not use an alarm at all and wake up plenty early. But we're both "early to bed, early to rise" sorts.

  4. Oh, I get it, it's a Paleo / Primal alarm clock so that you can wake up the way our caveman ancestors did. ;-)

  6. I'd have loaned you a 100% naturally awakening young child for free. I have several ages available if that there doohickey isn't to your liking.

  7. I used to have something similar called a "moon beam" clock. I think LL Bean still sells them.

  8. In the absence of a DS with a garbage can, I have found an alarm clock with battery back up to work just fine

  11. Report: The thing is amazing. Totally love it. Light and birds. Doesn't get a better wake up than that.

    "Pity the poor preachers!"

    Rebekah,
Can you guarantee wake-up when I want to... and no earlier? :)

    [No, I didn't think so!]
