Can you share the book(s)from which you are getting the patristic quotes or where I might acquire them.
I draw from a variety of sources, but I try to indicate them after the quote. This one is from the book *On the Priesthood* published by SVS Press - part of their great and CHEAP patristic series in paperback!

Chrysostom certainly did NOT follow the first part of that advice.
