Truth

"The most fundamental drive in human beings is not sex, but the drive to be right. If you don't believe that, just get married." - Frederick Niedner (hijacked from the paper that Ed Schroeder wrote referred to in one of the comments - a very fine paper in almost all points)

AMEN! It's not all about sex.

Very perceptive! The drive to be right... is that pride? Perhaps the same pride that made man want to eat the forbidden fruit to be wise like God and makes it difficult to ask for forgiveness and to forgive. Wow! I think a sermon could be formed around this.

Pastor Weedon,

Marriage like has been confessed is not about sex. Man's stumbling block is pride and more pointed than pride, 'EGO'. I was reminded of this yet again tonight in a discussion with my better half!!!!

May we let go of our 'ego' and cling to God the author and perfector of our Faith who is perfect!!!!

Pastor Will,

Superb quote. Truth! If only we can handle it, sex is a lot easier.
