that sweet as the sunshine streaming into the living room window may be, it is just not as enticing as the heat the comes periodically from the register. She's made her move and is curled up in a ball - and she's hogging the heat!

You know, I wonder if reading your comments about Lucy had a hand in our deciding to get a dog! I think so - I find myself with a goofy smile on my face when I read about her, and I think about the beagles we had when I was growing up. So...Charlie, a black miniature schnauzer, will be arriving tomorrow. He's already met Trixie, our ferret, and she approves of him! Carla Fast
