We defend the doctrine received in the entire Church. In the Lord’s Supper, Christ’s body and blood are truly and actually present. They are truly administered with those things that are seen, bread and wine. And we speak of the presence of the living Christ, for we know that “death no longer has dominion over Him.”—Ap X:57.

In, with and under was taught and discarded?
thank you for your lesson.
Anonymous,
Interestingly, the exact terminology of “in, with, and under” was never used in the Christian Book of Concord. All the prepositions are used, but not put together exactly in that way. And most tellingly, none are used by Dr. Luther in the SA where he simply states that the bread is Christ’s body and the wine is His blood.
