I have no idea what I would do. And unless God has something cooked up for me that he isn't sharing as yet -- which is entirely possible, as despite my best efforts to make it so my relationship with him has never been that of his trusted consultant -- Father of the Bride will never be my role.
I wonder how I looked to my father in law at first, or when it became clear I wanted to marry his daughter, or when I actually did. All of us fathers were that guy once!

That is actually a great stress relief! I am nervous for when my daughters get married and they are only 4yrs and 2 months old!
