In our parish the paschal candle is lit from Easter Sunday to Ascension Sunday. We have a special Baptismal candle that is lit before every Baptism and given to the baptized person after the worship service to take home and light every year on his/her baptismal birthday.

would it be appropriate to light it for the feast of Christ's baptism even if no baptisms are scheduled?
