Christ Lutheran was celebrating their 140th anniversary and my friend, Pr. Mike Kettner, invited me to preach. A beautiful parish and a full church and an interesting drive. On the way TO church, we saw a young doe amble across the road, a flock of wild turkeys, and a black squirrel. On the way FROM church, we saw a blue heron in flight.
