...from our 150th celebration:
using the old communion veil (from St. Paul's old church! - handcrocheted - thanks to Alice Sievers for loaning it to us for the day).
using a combination of the old and new communion ware to distribute our Lord's body and blood.
using the vases from the old St. Paul's church.
the awesome "quilt banner" that carried so many memories of St. Paul within its varied panes.
the procession around the whole perimeter of the church.
the powerful singing of "Lift High" and "Our Father's God."
the lovely words of the hymn Jonathan Schkade wrote for our anniversary, being sung as we distributed our Lord's body and blood.
Ken Sievers' beautiful remembrances and meditation on "Train up a child..."
the unbelievable cake with the picture of St. Paul's right on it.
the many old friends we got to see again.
the fly by with Robert Esch's friend in the air plane.
the baptism chains (one link for every person baptized at St. Paul's in her 150 years) - and the joy of anticipating them on the Christmas trees this year.
the wise words of President Mueller and Pastor Wilken at our banquet.
the many folks who gathered for confirmation remembrances throughout the year.
the six ladies who made it all happen.
the hard work of the musicians.
For all these and for so much more, glory to You, O Lord, glory to You!
