Cyberbrethren. Note that Christ crucified stands in the center as the source whence the sacraments flow, and that the preacher opens the Sacred Scriptures to point us toward the Crucified Lord.

I hasten to note that two of my ever-vigilant readers spotted a bit of mischief in the high-resolution version of the painting, the one you have on your site now.
Somebody Photoshopped Luther's head on to the preacher's body!
The original is not Luther preaching. Apparently a Dane got a tad carried away.
At any rate, just so you know.
This can't be Lutheran -- the communicant is taking the host on the tongue, there's no instruments or musical group on the altar, whoever the preacher is he's up in a pulpit, the celebrant has a chasuble, you ain't foolin' me!
