I wonder how often

it will happen that a reading in Church on a given day matches part of the reading in Treasury. Today we were treated to Deuteronomy 10 twice - and I'm not complaining. That little bit in there "for your good" doesn't get emphasized enough!

Ha! Well, since I have the Treasury readings, both LSB lectionaries, and the TLH lectionary, all in a database, I could probably come up with a query to answer your question. I'll have to add a page of random facts like this when I roll out my big website update.

Minor correction: I have the LSB Daily Lectionary readings, which are almost, but not quite like the Treasury readings. The Psalms are different.

Kaleb,

It would vary by the year, though, depending on how the readings fall since the Sunday calendar is not fixed, while the daily readings mostly are (excluding the time of Lent/Easter).

Yes, but the website already calculates all readings for every day through 4099 (except series C, which will be up soon, along with daily TLH readings), so serving up this info shouldn't be too hard. ;)
