A creed is not only written on tablets, dearly beloved, but is kept in memory in the heart, and for this reason it is helpful to repeat what should never be forgotten. -- St. Caesarius of Arles, Homily 9
Amen, Kiran. In Lutheran piety, the Creed is prayed both morning and evening. Here is the Rule of Prayer that we teach our children:
The Catechism Morning Prayer
Make the sign of the holy cross: In the name of the Father and of the + Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Recite the Apostles' Creed and the Our Father.
I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son, that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil, that all my doings and life may please You. For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things. Let Your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.
Go to work joyfully singing a hymn.
Evening:
Make the sign of the holy cross: In the name of the Father and of the + Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Recite the Apostles' Creed and the Our Father.

Indeed! Over the last couple of months or so, the (Apostles') Creed has become my favourite prayer.
