Without the Sacrament of the Altar, without the Body and Blood of Christ Himself given to us in the consecrated bread and wine, what does Protestantism have to offer? As one wag put it, when a Protestant goes to church he gets a preacher; when a Catholic goes to church he gets Christ. Sasse was adamant on the necessity of recovering both PREACHING and the SACRAMENT in the regular Sunday liturgy. He was right.

Hmm... do you think you could expound on this statement?

That's why we look Protestant to the Catholics and Catholic to the Protestants.
Also why we shouldn't get our ideas of how to be from either of them.
