Yesterday

Was an especially wonderful day at church. Reminscere is always a joy, but more so this year. Though we still had four services, and only used every other pew, we saw the return of:

• Hymnals
• Old bulletin format (outline, rather than printed out)
• Entrance Hymn
• Gospel Procession
• Distribution Hymn
• Exit Hymn

It ALMOST felt “normal” again, which is such a relief! We did still have the “wipe down” after services and the “line” communion rather than the rail. But it was like that first crocus you see in the springtime. It means that good stuff is just around the corner, thanks be to God. I felt like in Song of Songs: the voice of the turtledove is heard again in our land.
