Old Lutheran Quote of the Day
There is no other way to faith than through a person's knowledge of sin and his damnable condition and through the inward crushing of the heart in contrition and sorrow. Presumably the babies who cry during Baptism are demonstrating “the inward crushing of the heart in contrition and sorrow.” Somehow I knew though, that they are not theologians.
