That is for sure.

We need a Savior. Not a how-to coach.

Thanks, Pastor.

Context? Without some explanation, “our real dilemma is death”, leaves me with a serious question. You see, a common definition of “dilemma” is, “a problem offering two possibilities, neither of which is practically acceptable.” It seems to me that the words of St. Paul solve whatever dilemma there may have been about death, 1 Corinthians 15: 55, "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” A choice between good and evil is not a dilemma. A choice for good which one is incapable of making, that is a dilemma, but it is no longer ours, inasmuch as the choice has been made for us in Baptism.

Peace and Joy!
