...what's for the Thanksgiving Feast this year, here's the menu. Note, though, that Cindi and I embracing Carnivore has certainly affected how we do this day in a major way.

Mushrooms stuffed with sausage, onions, and a wine sauce and topped with parmesan.
Assorted cheeses (Bree, Three Year Aged Cheddar, and Muenster)
Salami
Crackers and Crisped Cheese
Main Course
Wine (some Edna Valley Cab)
Smoked Turkey
Baked Duck
Bacon-wrapped Scallops
Home-made Light Rolls (by David)
Twice-baked Potatoes (by David)
A green vegetable of some sort (by David)
Filling in the Corners
Chocolate Marvel Pie
Another dessert (by David; I think)
Fresh Pour Over Coffee
Assorted liqueurs (Amarulla, Bailey's, whatever)
It makes me sad to see some of the family recipes from mom go the way of all flesh, but I was only one who actually LIKED the cornbread dressing, and I certainly don't eat it now. We also have all decided that we don't particularly care for regular turkey (we do enjoy the smoked turkey more; mostly because it tastes like ham!).
