Not playing that game

Well, I guess no more pictures for this here blog. Blogger is owned by goggle, and they’ve now made it clear that the only way you can post pics is if you allow them to track you across the internet. Just not interested in that. Besides, this old blog is coming up on its 20th year since the first posting. I’m definitely thinking about letting it lie mostly dormant. There’s some old stuff on there that might prove useful to some, so I won’t be deleting it (until google makes its NEXT demand that merely maintaining it requires them to be able to track you.) But there’s always the “Way Back” machine to find old posts if need be. But for now, just expect a lot more silence over here.

So sorry about that. I have enjoyed your postings, particularly those from the Church Fathers, and Walther. I am thankful to Walther's writings about the Gospel, which were of great help to me in my youth.
Thank you for this blog.
Peace and Joy!

Think about using Locals. They are a much more free environment without possible "violations" of Google policy.

Pastor Weedon,
I’ve followed and enjoyed your postings for a good part of the twenty years and I thank you very much for that.
Unless you have decided to move on from blogging, have you considered alternatives to Google’s product:
Google Blogger alternatives – WordPress, Medium, and Ghost.

Would you consider posting a collection of the "quotes of the day", even as an epub? I've found them edifying over the years.

Pastor, I have followed you for almost ten years. You have been an amazing blessing to me here and privately. I still remember how you helped me several yrs ago as I struggled with theological questions. I have returned to the Lutheran Church from Catholicism. May God reward you richly and I hope to still see your work elsewhere online.
