So all the talk from up top was to cover that up? Why couldn't they be honest and say what they're going to try to do? Usually you are embarrassed and try to hide what you are not sure of is right or wrong....hmmm.
We invite the readers here to Leaving the LCMS for discussion on existing church bodies, on forming new church bodies, on the viability of Confessional Lutheranism in America, as well as career options for those who may not have congregations to support them any longer.
With our God, there is always hope - and the more impossible the situation appears from human perspective, the more God's glory is manifested if a solution is somehow found. Repentance is always a miracle; but our God IS the God of miracles.

P-Dub, do you think there is hope for our synod, or it is just a done deal?
The idea of continually funding this BS is starting to wear on me. Sorry to be blunt, but that's how I feel.
Are these people in the Purple Palace so vested and settled in their positions, that they can do no wrong?
Is there hope for any of this?
