ANYONE who knows me at all knows that I haven't the foggiest idea about money and how it works (I get an allowance from my wife and SHE takes care of all the finances - I'm hopeless). So I ask you money types out there if the points raised on the above blog make sense to you? Does the fellow have a valid point?

I sure hope not.
Although I am no expert either, I am moderately knowledgeable in finances.
The author of this blog is simply estimating numbers and stating that they don't add up. He does not have the information to state anything for sure.
However, the estimates he uses are certainly reasonable, perhaps even generous. The logic make sense to me as well.
Although he may not have any hard facts, he certainly makes a point. More importantly, his arguments certainly beg for an answer. As far as I'm concerned, since we are dealing with a non-profit entity which receives donations, how those donations are put to use should be public information. The information which the author does not have should be available to all.
He may or may not be right, but he certainly has valid concerns which should be answered.
