Which is why, according to modern liberals, "there is some good in everyone."
There is no other way to discover the true God, than through the Holy Scripture.

I actually just did the podcast on this verse and noted how modern scholars disagree with all the fathers (including those of the Reformation) and rejoice to see the actor in the Kingdom Parables as Christ: HE’S the one who sells everything to buy the field in which the treasure is hid. He happens to see us as His treasure. Go figure! But joy indeed.

P.S. Hilary, however, meant that GOD shows up in the humanity of Christ.
