Paul does not say that we who believe in the Cross should crucify our sins in general. Our lusts should be crucified. This is why the true saints are so much different from many church members. Wow, I like this better than the patristic quote today. Maybe I am a secret Lutheran at heart? I really admire Martin Luther for what he did for the church in general. It is unfortunate there is not open communion or intercommunion between our two confessions of faith. I find I have a lot more in common with you than some Eastern Orthodox pastors.
