Noting the praise theme

in Trinity 14's propers:

Introit:  Blessed are those who dwell in Your house, ever singing Your praises.

Gradual:  It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.

Verse:  Praise is due to You, O God, in Zion.

Proper Preface:  ...with angels and archangels and all the company of heaven, we laud and magnify Your glorious name, evermore praising You and saying.

Matt Carver (Matthaeus Glyptes) said...

Behold, O God our Shield, and look upon the face of Thine anointed : For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand.

How amiable are Thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts : My soul longeth, yea even fainteth for the courts of the Lord.
