The Marvelous Jen

Is the one to thank for that beautiful banner that now resides at the top of this page. From incarnation to crucifixion to resurrection - it's only all about Jesus. Thanks a BUNDLE, Jen!!!

It's beautiful. The colors in the painting are picked out nicely by the other reds and blues on the blog.

Guaranteed to upset many an iconoclast. Great job.

That is really nice...love the colors.

Very nice! I like the Luther Rose that resides almost unnoticed in the background. The good doctor would approve.

Nice- although Incarnation is best associated with the Annunciation, not the Nativity. I'm not being fussy, really. I only make the comment because it is something that has captured my imagination of late. The reality of the Son of God being nourished in the womb, incarnate, is a sublime mystery. Thanks for the blog-

Fr. Weedon,
Forgive the above comment. It sounds remarkably arrogant, which was not intended.

Dear Mason,

Nothing to forgive. Just a tad difficult to PICTURE the Incarnate One in the womb (though certain ikons do a fine job of it). One of my elders observed to me at Christmas: "This is nice and all, but shouldn't all this really be happening on March 25?" AMEN!
