Ah, if you want...

...bookfolds on the Mac, the solution is Open Office.  And that's free!

Here's what I do (though am not encumbered by a Mac):

Create whatever document I want in OpenOffice, export it to pdf and then do booklet print in Adobe. That way I'm guaranteed to get everything on the page, regardless of original paper size. With word processors, things can get chopped of at the margins.

Just make sure your page size is half of the booklet paper size.

Open Office probably works well on a Mac (since the Mac OS is UNIX based). On PC, well... it sucks.

But Word for PC supports book folds, so I don't have to deal with OO.

I used OpenOffice Draw to make a CD label template. Things went well, except that I couldn't figure out how to rotate text and I couldn't position a table of contents as precisely as I would have liked. Not bad for free, though.
