Okay, okay. So I spent some time this week with the Lutheran Study Bible material that CPH has available for perusal. I said I'm not the sort to get excited about study Bibles in general, but holy cow! The notes are DIFFERENT from so many study Bibles. I can't tell you the number of times I was reading pertinent commentary by my favorite St. John Chrysostom in the notes - not to mention goodies by Luther and others! The more I've looked at it (I spent some time in the Job selection), the more astonished I became. Sadly, Reformation Day is a LONG TIME away! I can't wait to get my hands on it. CPH, I don't know what's gotten into you, but from LSB to Concordia to Treasury to Lutheran Study Bible - WOW. I can only say: Thank God for your hard work and your faithfulness.
