A Great Thought

"There are other ways of noting time, besides by its loss. The Church Festivals note it by its gains, the Church Year marks the time which has been redeemed forever."

Who said it?

Are you implying that I'm obsessing on Krauth? ;)

Well, it's like being asked to guess Rush Limbaugh's take on taxes and government... :)

Actually, I just googled a chunk of it and it came up. Needless to say, I was not surprised.

What I did find out, though, was that you can download your beloved text (the norm that norms the normed norm?) for free in PDF from Google Books. Only 871 printer pages. To do so, click on 'Download PDF' under the image of the cover page of the book here:

You googled? That's cheating! :)

Actually, I've listed the free google book version a few times. Rast's intro still makes the hardback version a great buy in my opinion.

Pax!

I realized you could read it online at Google Books, but I didn't know you could download it.

All's fair in love and theology...

Sounds like Krauth had been reading Proust ;-] ...

Can one have too much Krauth?

Keep up the good work, Pr Weedon.

Wow...I would have guessed some Eastern Orthodox father, not a American Lutheran father. What a blessed man.
