As I Work On Bulletins

for Advent/Christmas, I am struck by the improvements in Builder over last year. It's really an amazing tool in the whole LSB constellation. I confess that I went back to the first edition (the second still has a few too many quirks, but looks really promising in time). Putting together the services has never been easier. I'm thinking about working on our Christmas program with Builder too - it will take a bit of doing, but I think it would work!

Do you mean the children's Christmas program when you say "Christmas program?" What's it look like?

Think of it as a mini lessons and carols for children - with the Litany and prayers tacked on at the end! And, of course, Stille Nacht auf Deutsch.

It really sounds wonderful - thanks. We're hoping to get the children to sing with our Adult choir next year for Christmas - wasn't time to pull it together this year.

I finally got a new computer in the office, so I can actually run the builder. I'm slowly figuring it out. . . and what changes I can't get it to make (like bolding the half-verses of the introit) I just do on word. Interesting stuff.

We really like using Builder and it is pretty easy to learn. And I am grateful for smarter folks than me who know what to do. And I am also grateful for responsive customer service at CPH. I find that I use Builder several times a week to grab hymns and prayers for use in Bible classes and things.
